Borrowing from the Boys: Panama Hats & Blazers

Everywhere I turn, I see girls and guys wearing stylish panama hats. I love how this look can be translated into both men's and women’s styles, so naturally I had to try it out. While my version of the panama hat includes an adorable bow, it still exudes that menswear-inspired look that graces the trend forecasts for Spring 2014.

I paired the panama hat with a stylish indigo striped blazer, a high-low jersey top from Anthropologie, adorable distressed boyfriend jeans and black espadrille wedges. I finished this look off with some fun jewelry, included a bracelet that was my grandmother’s and a fun ballerina Betsey Johnson necklace. Wa-la! Done and done, my friends!

    I love wearing panama hats too. I only own one and it's not truly a panama hat (purchased it from H&M) but I love the way it looks! hehe. I'm glad it's starting to get warm again so I can pull it out to wear! =)

      Thank you Nancy! I decided to get the panama hat for vacation in the islands and then thought it would look cute with this outfit. We need a warm up trend in Indianapolis so I can wear it more!

      Thanks girl! I love the color of it–just in between a purple and a cobalt blue. One of these days I'll get to wear warm weather clothes. :)
