I've decided to continue summer and avoid fall fashion as long as I can. As you saw in my fall fashion must-haves post, I love fall, but I'm in no hurry to get rid of summer weather. For this reason, I chose to throw on a bright striped dress, fun statement jewelery and a denim jacket in hopes of keeping my good friend, summer, around a little while longer.

Funny story about this dress: it was a total hand-me-down from my sister recently who cast this beauty out of her closet. Her loss was totally my gain in that scenario. Did I mention my sister is 10 years younger than me, so that fact that I can even fit into any of her clothes is a shear miracle. Ha! Enjoy this summery look!

      I know what you mean, Alecia! It was REALLY REALLY hot here last week, but by the time Saturday hit it was the perfect weather and in the 70's. Thank you for stopping by!

    Wow, that dress is beautiful! I would actually prefer to wear fall clothes now, but it is still 100 degrees here so that would be silly. :)

      Oh I'd love to wear fall clothes, but I don't really want the fall weather. That's quite the contradictory statement I just made, but I still want warmer days. Ha!
