Confession: I've never seen the movie Almost Famous. But last week when we were taking these pictures, Jaime said I looked like Penny Lane. So I looked her up and turns out she's Kate Hudson. I'll take it.
Despite the Victorian detailed blouse, this look is completely 70s-inspired and in good timing since this trend was all over the runway at Spring/Summer '15 Fashion Week last Fall. Now let's get back to this blouse...is it not amazing? The pictures do not do it justice with its high collar and lace detailing - and you can't even see the back, which buttons up the neck. I can't wait to wear it again, focusing on these fun details. Maybe closer to spring when the faux fur isn't a must for preventing frostbite, huh?
Happy Monday!

Thank you, Megan! The faux fur was definitely a good choice considering my blouse was basically made of tissue paper :) We thought we had frostbite after taking these pictures, haha!

DeleteThis is such a gorgeous look! I love the lace blouse contrasted with the fur vest and flare jeans. The hat tops this look off perfectly. Yes, very Penny Lane :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Shea! I'm obsessed with this lace top - can't wait til it warms up a bit so I can wear it without the fur vest :)
