Wearing – Jacket: Express | Top: J.Crew | Jeans: Old Navy | Necklaces: Etsy {custom order} | Earrings: ILY Couture {sold out) | Shoes: T.J. Maxx | Sunglasses: Burberry | Purse: Michael Kors
My outfit posts have been feeling pretty lackluster as of late. It is totally an odd concept for me to have to classify my outfit as blog-worthy vs. boring. OR better yet that moment when you get dressed and think your outfit looks great, but it ends up not translating well in photos. Major buzzkill right there! I'm sure my friends out in blog-land know exactly what I'm talking about.
When I got dressed this particular morning, I was totally uninspired–per my norm–and throwing on whatever I could grab that looked somewhat cute together. Even thought I had just worn this jacket for a Midwest Fashion Week (as seen here) event, I love its comfort and soft spring color. After all, how can you go wrong with a blush moto jacket after all? Add some lace, light gray skinny jeans, fun accessories and ta-da–blog-worthy look achieved. Oh, and the pink tulips? While being the perfect spring flower, they also make for the perfect fashion blogger accessory–and bee attractors. (Please note Kacie is terrified of bees and ran into Trader Joe's when she saw the swarm around the flowers, while yelling for me to grab her a bouquet.)

You should have seen me. I just kept layering jewelry on thinking, "Yep, that will fix it!" Ha! Those shoes were quite a bargain, too. I think I paid $12.99 for them at T.J. Maxx. Definitely a good deal!
DeleteSo pretty! Love the jacket and the shoes!

Thank you, Aleczandra! I could totally build my entire wardrobe out of this color pairing, and that's saying a lot because I normally gravitate toward black and white color combinations.
DeleteYour jacket is so pretty! Perfect for spring!
