I've said in the past that I'm always super leery of trying new trends out–an odd trait for someone who has a fashion blog, I know. I found this culotte jumpsuit on a recent trip to T.J. Maxx and I figured, why not give it a whirl? Well, let me just tell you that no makeup and crazy hair days are definitely not ideal when trying on clothing in a department store dressing room. Combine that with terrible lighting and awful mirrors and you're bound to feel terrible about yourself at some point before leaving. Well for some reason or another, the fashion gods decided to smile down upon me {probably pitying me for the aforementioned shopping trip appearance} and the culotte jumpsuit actually looked cute on. Fast forward to me forgetting it was even in my closet and here we are today.

I love color, but feel most at home in black and white ensembles. Call me crazy, but these outfits are just so much easier for me to put together.

      I didn't think I could do it either, until I found this one. I'm only 5'5" and thought the large pant legs would swallow me whole, but definitely fell in love with it after the fact.

      Thanks Amy Ann! I wasn't so sure about them, but I gave them a whirl. I think the jumpsuit was only like $16.99 at T.J. Maxx so it was well worth the spend. :)

      Definitely give it a try! I'm totally not the adventurous one when it comes to fashion, so this is way out of my comfort zone, but I ended up love the end result.

      I was heading toward the dressing room at T.J. Maxx and saw this jumpsuit randomly and had to at least try it on. I'm glad I did because it was such a great deal and a very versatile piece.
