Sunglass Styles (left to Right): Oversized | Aviator | Clubmaster | Cat Eye | Round | Retro Square | Wayfarer
"But I can see you, your brown skin shinin' in the sun, you got your hair combed back and your sunglasses on, baby.." Too young for the reference? Yeah, we totally remember growing up and having our parents listen to the Don Henley version of, "Boys of Summer." For two reformed punk rock princesses, we loved The Atari's version ourselves. With all the ruffles, bows and pink flying around this blog, it's hard for even us to remember the days when we went to Warped Tour to see our favorite bands play in the summer.
Speaking of summer–no summer day is complete without a fabulous pair of sunnies to complete your look. Not only are they stylish, but they help you ward off eye wrinkles from an overabundance of squinting. Everybody has their favorite style of shades already, but do you know what shape would complement your face shape? See our guide below:
Now that we've got that cleared up, we're going to relive our summer fun and look for some new shades! We are also loving these adorable sunglass cases that keep your sunglasses scratch free when you're not wearing them.

Aviators are such a great classic choice. Once you've found the perfect pair, it's hard to stray from that shape.
DeleteHah, I love all of those sunglasses. I still never figured out what's my exact face shape.
ReplyDeleteAlex - Funky Jungle
It's totally tricky! We feel like we have in between face shapes, so it makes it tough to determine which category we fit into.
DeleteI think the round and the cat eye are my favorite. Luckily I have that oval face shape so it's no issue ;)

Such a struggle! Sunglass Hut does a great job of making sunglasses fit your nose area and your head. Maybe start there!
DeleteGreat post!! I have a weirdly small head and have such a hard time finding the perfect pair of sunglasses, I pretty much stick with my wayfarers!
ReplyDeleteCarley @ preppylane.blogspot
Hey, there's nothing wrong with that! Wayfarers are a great shape. I say stick with what you're comfortable and at least you can still be stylish in your Wayfarers.
