Let me tell you about the time a snake ruined Jaime's day.

While taking these photos at the park last week, we saw a little fishy in distress, flopping around on the bank. We started creeping down the hill to find a stick to shove him back into the water (because we're friendly like that) and halfway down, we noticed that a fairly large snake was eating him - poor guy! When we got back in the car, Jaime declared that that snake just ruined her entire day.

Know what ruined my day? I had a bunch of cute bracelets on and I forgot to pull them out of my jacket sleeves before we took these photos and now the world will never know...

Now that story time is over, lets talk about this outfit! We're currently in that weird summery/fall chill time of year and so it's hard knowing what to wear. I decided to break out this new BlankNYC jacket that I scored during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with a fun blouse and these adorably sparkly d'orsay flats I found at Target. I threw in some summery pops of color with pieces from my latest Rocksbox and I had myself the perfect, weird-time-of-year outfit!

    Haha you two crack me up! I would have totally tried to help the fish too and then have been super bummed to witness the whole incident. I am always getting into situations like that. I am also always SO mad when I forget to wear something I planned, especially when I take photos. Good thing your outfit is so cute even without the bracelets!

      I do the same thing - on days I need to take pictures I'm always in a rush to get out the door to work and then I realize halfway there that I should have grabbed a different bag or worn a different necklace, blah! :)
