Beautiful wooded area, sunny day and an adorable fall outfit...what could possibly go wrong? Well you see, lots of things could go wrong. You could forget your camera and have to use your iphone, then be blinded by the sun no matter which way turn and finally add in some wind for extra problems. All of this and more led to a series of unfortunate events which I'm sure you all can relate to. I'm also pretty sure when we stopped to get a fountain drink that day on our way back the office and the nozzle exploded on my hand and shirt. See, super fun day huh?

It's the end of October and the fall colors are finally starting to show here in Indy! This past Saturday was the perfect fall day with rain and a bit of a chill - just what I was hoping for! It was also super windy and thus resulted in these blurry photos. Sorry! :)

Okay, so this shirt is not completely accurate, because I like to run. But for the record, I completely agree with this statement! Shopping is totally cardio especially when you're lugging around a massive purse, short on time (and thus, sprinting through the store) and have you ever dug through a massive  pile of denim only to discover that your size is on the bottom? Just like dumbbells, my friend.

You know those days when you wake up and really don't feel like getting dressed? Yep, today was another one of those days–partially because I can't find half of my clothing and partially because I hate getting out of bed and being cold. We recently sold our house and spent the majority of last weekend moving all of our belongings into a rental house while we get plans together to build a new home. Needless to say, getting dressed in the morning has been a challenge to say the least. You know it's bad when you've resorted to talking to your dog and asking her where your pants are. This was totally a legitimate conversation that was had this morning–just me and the dog.

Aside from a full on conversation with the dog, she did manage to help my find my pants that were in another bedroom so I'd say today was a fashion win. Add a pair of riding boots and this amazing chunky knit sweater from Satori Boutique and we were in business for the day.

So I've got a confession to make–I have never been one to love flowing tops. When I received this top in the mail from Goodnight Macaroon it was so boxy and I immediately thought it would be a no-go on me. However, I gave it a shot and I'm totally embarrassed to say this, but I wore it three days in a row. Hey! No judging!

Just when I think it's safe to break out my soft and cozy plaid top the weather takes a turn and it's in the 70's again. Oh well, I guess there's not better time than the present! From the second I received this top I was so excited to wear it on a crisp fall day. As luck may have it, it was sunny and warm by the time Kacie and I left for lunch and we were both sweating. Super cute, huh?
