Fur Fever

Give me a warm vest and I'll be officially set for cold weather. Add on a cozy blanket scarf and I'll be strutting around coat free in mid-January. Am I crazy? Probably, but some of the best people are–or so I like to tell myself.


I decided to up my vest game by donning a TopShop faux fur vest that I picked up during the Nordstrom sale earlier this fall and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. What I'm not so thrilled about is the random number of people who want to come up and "pet" my vest. So basically I felt like a golden retriever all day long. Cool. Just another typical day at the office I guess. #cubelife

I've had this outfit in my head for quite some time and finally decided to give it a whirl–in other words, it's finally cold enough for this girl to break into a winter favorite. I love how it turned a simple black trapeze dress into a chic outfit for work, but you could easily throw it on with jeans and a fun plaid for a casual look also. It's safe to say I've officially found a new vest to throw into my winter rotation.
