If you saw this and this on my Instagram over the weekend then you know that Jaime and I took advantage of the #Nsale on Saturday. It was BEYOND hot with a heat index of over 100 degrees so I wanted to stay cool (gotta hustle if you want to get a good deal!). I snagged this adorable 'I'm Nacho Friend' bodysuit at Charlotte Russe recently and knew it was the perfect occasion to take her for a spin. I mean...when you're shopping the Anniversary Sale, it's not a game. I'm nacho friend – I will tackle you if you take the last pair of size 8 booties I've been eyeing. Juuuust kidding...

Romantic, chic and classic silhouettes always appeal to this girl. My style has been evolving lately though and I find myself drawn to muted tones, like this dusty rose top from Elysian Co. I still love bright, vibrant colors, but there is something so romantic and effortlessly chic about these new neutrals that I absolutely adore...and the fact that I can transition this beautiful top easily into a fall outfit gets bonus points in the styling department.

But I seriously do live for Fall and it's officially that time of year when I am completely over summer and I start to get excited for the most wonderful time of year – FALL!! I seriously love every single thing about Fall, especially the style in which I truly feel most like myself in my clothes. This look is a clear transition with hints of olive and camel broken up with summery, white denim.

Summer is filled with weddings, family parties, showers and just about any other event you can cram into the summer months. One thing that each of these things have in common is that you're likely to be photographed with friends and family, and I don't know about you, but I always want to look my best. Looking my best starts with a pearly white smile. Thanks to products like, Colgate Optic White, I can achieve a white smile just in time for, in this case, my birthday.

Who else still loves that Demi Lovato song?! It seriously is the theme song of my life right now. When its hot and sticky in the morning while I'm trying to do my hair and makeup, the last thing I want to do is put on pants (ha!) so that means cute dresses are a must! I love finding ones with fun details like this one with criss-cross cutouts at the shoulder which believe it or not, was under $20 at Meijer!

I should start off this post saying that I do NOT avoid the sun by any means. Living in Indiana, we get a limited amount of time to actually enjoy bikini weather and I take full advantage of it. I am totally aware of the skin damage overexposure to the sun causes, but instead of avoiding the sun altogether, I slather on my favorite SPF–always a 30+ on both my face and body–and embrace the heat. For me, SPF is an important part of my daily skincare routine as well, even when I'm not getting my bronze on. I've tried so many daily moisturizers with SPF and while I've got a select few favorites, I was happy to have the opportunity to try a few newbies with Sephora's amazing Sun Safety Kit.

Is anyone else obsessed with Halsey?? I have her CD on repeat right now and 'New Americana' is one of my favorite songs on the album. It also happened to be the inspiration for this look... Classic red-white-and-blue Americana meets modern, metallic elements.
