Romantic, chic and classic silhouettes always appeal to this girl. My style has been evolving lately though and I find myself drawn to muted tones, like this dusty rose top from Elysian Co. I still love bright, vibrant colors, but there is something so romantic and effortlessly chic about these new neutrals that I absolutely adore...and the fact that I can transition this beautiful top easily into a fall outfit gets bonus points in the styling department.
Finding my balance of new vs. old in the fashion department has been rough this summer. It's been blazing hot recently so this girl has been living in flowing dresses. The thought of putting pants on has been a major buzzkill because let's be honest, who wants to walk around feeling like their pants have been glued to their body? Yeah, not me. I finally decided to brave the heat and opted for my wardrobe staples of white skinnies and layered necklaces styled with this ahh-mazing top.
I totally have to retract my statement that I made to Kacie about these heels. The 70's trend isn't really my scene, but I appreciate how my friends and other bloggers have worked this trend into their wardrobe. I knew my outfit needed a chunkier heel to complete the look and these strappy beauties did the trick. Another win in the shoe category for Target, and another time I've had to admit that I liked something I said I previously hated.
Also, don't forget it's the last day to enter to win a Colgate Optic White set from Meijer!
